Primary inspiration credit goes to an ancient Konami game called "Ring of Red" for PS2 (can be currently found dirt cheap on the PSN).  Other sources detailed here: rob-cavanna.deviantart.com/art…

Gear Krieg did indeed come to my attention in the course of research for this project. It is by far one of the coolest WWII mech IPs out there. I find the GK mech designs totally solid. Perhaps my 2nd fav next to RoR. I only wish that there were more high quality GK related art out there to compliment the excellent mech figs.

Perhaps I shall...

If I won the lottery, I'd pay you to draw the whole damn thing like a twisted children's story.

Mmm. Money.

Give me a few years when I grow out of my lazy stage... and you actually win the lotto.

Great that you posted it! Think I said enough about how much I like it in the email back then!
Another brick in the wall of the OPDS setting. Sweet!

Thanks, Thomas. Tiny bit of revisions, but still basically what you read earlier.
Transcribed from something that sat scribbled in a sketchbook for ages. Only it became more creepy.
That toymaker surprised me... he's scarier than the Viscount!

The reason for Claus' uncanny gift is tied in w/ that McGuffin I still need to unravel. Which is why I had to get this out first.
Sorry to keep you hangin' on that one. Bad discipline lately.

talking about discipline... Mine is gone since summer. And it took off with my muse.
Don't get anything done at all. So no worries with keeping me waiting. :d

Yeah, summer is apparently not a very productive time. Better to be outside anyway, right?
Death to summer! I love the fall. Seems a good time for my muse to return.

Aside from swimming with the kids, I do not like the summer at all. Too damn hot. Debilitating.

As soon as I can wear some pants and a light jacket, I'm happy.

Agree about the heat! But damn winter is soo dark. Gonna miss the light!
But first things first: Fall is at the doorsteps and I'm gonna embrace it!
