I made new crisp black line art drawing directly on top of his sketch, in preparation for adding color. Moving to scraps eventually.

Updated on 1/25/10 (my Birthday)! Mostly dealing w/ symmetry/continuity issues. Thanks everyone for the feedback so far. Next update will be color -or probably flat color options. :D

Now _that's_ a sword! The clean linework and details work very well, as usual. I want to steal your power of drawing awesome robots. It's a great power. :)

I was going to mention a slightly off center of gravity, but... eh, too late.

Yeah, folks have beat you too it.

Not really my power tho. I'm just leeching juice from an outside line. Refining an existing sketch by another artist. The gold was there, I'm just chiseling off some grit and polishing.

Thanks, Emile! Hunting for awesome is name of the game. :D In this case, it sorta found me tho. I'm a little shocked I never noticed this series of War Skin designs earlier. Seems like they were posted quite a while ago. I've been watching Mike since my first days on DA, so it's kinda weird. He has a large gallery tho, so I must've missed 'em. But I've got the scent now...

That's what I'm hoping. It was very difficult to pick just one, so... the best way to ameliorate that stress would be to do more. :thumbsup: :D I have several other works in progress tho, and lots besides tying me up right now, but I'm really itching to see this through. I'm glad others are excited, because I am too!
